Scott Dalton travels to France on behalf of MI6 to receive ransom demands from the kidnappers of Sir Miles Booth-Royd, the head of British Intelligence, but is unceremoniously dumped from a plane into the Mediterranean Sea? His rescuers are Butch Manley, an American crimelord, and the femme fatale Se-ri Solitaire. When they kindly deposit him ashore happenstance sets him in the path of his friend, and CIA agent, TC Match, who recruits him to infiltrate Manley's crew to discover his involvement in retrieving secrets from a downed foreign satellite, offering the trade-off that he shall help Scott locate Sir Miles' kidnappers.Amidst twists and turns and chance encounters, Scott and TC are set upon a whirlwind adventure across Southern France, dodging bombs, bullets and mayhem in the hopes of achieving their goals...
