Living Forever II: Patient Faust

In the first volume of Living Forever, a man awakens believing himself to be Faust - until he discovers that he is someone else. Living Forever II begins where that revelation ends. Connected to the learning AI known as M, Patient Faust gains access to memories, histories, and possible futures no human mind should ever contain. As governments, intelligence agencies, the Church, and powerful investors seek to claim his knowledge, he becomes an unwilling oracle. Then Greta returns - not from the past, but from a future that may never exist. Is she the woman he loved, or the most perfect reconstruction ever created? When the consortium decides to preserve his consciousness beyond his body, Faust must answer the only question that still matters: What remains human when memory, knowledge, and even love can be copied?
