About the Author

Rahman Johnson is a Professor of Journalism andCommunications at his alma later Edward Waters College. He earned degrees inCommunications from Edward Waters and Seton Hall University. With years as a TVNews Anchor/Reporter and host of the game show Splat on Nickelodeon, he usedthat visibility to create change. Rahman is also an award-winning actor andproducer with many stage, film and TV roles to his credit, including: AugustWilson's Radio Golf and the ABC action series Sheena. Noted academic and journalistDr. Ann Kimbrough said, " He greets life with a loud, booming tone ofgratefulness that spills over in the pages of this book. I am in love with hislife's work as a poet in one of the most compelling works that I've read".
Rahman lives in Jacksonville, Florida and continues toinspire, perform, write and host his weekly podcast, The Rahman Experience.
