Living Out of the Bin: A mirror to my soul

When a ray of light approached a mirror, The mirror was happy bouncing it back. Reflecting the world, with pure delight, Finding joy in mirroring outside.
The mirror embraced the present with ease, Unbiased, empty, and forever pleased. Containing all within its flawless frame, Empty, yet full, a paradox to proclaim.
Witnessing its radiant state of mind, The devil schemed; a thought it planned. A seed of desire, with intent so deep, The mirror began to gather what it could keep.
“I reflect the world, yet own no part,” It craved for more, a longing in its heart. Collecting and hoarding, its purpose distorted, Gathering possessions, its essence contorted. Its actions now tainted, emotions confined, Prejudiced judgments clouded its mind. A mere glass box, rearranging its treasure, Guarding a backyard, fearing its measure.
