Living a Positive Life in a Negative World: My Uphill Journey

A message of hope and inspiration as well as tools to help people live a positive life in the midst of a very negative world.

Coming from a place of hopelessness when a major medical institution told the author there were no treatment options, she offers healing tools for the body, brain, mind, and spirit. For others also going through hopelessness, depression, or who have felt separated from God, there is a path to healing.

Linda S. Plunkett, PhD, is a licensed counselor, coach, speaker, and author of Supernatural Rescue, a memoir chronicling her experiences following a nearly eight-hour brain surgery including lessons learned during recovery. Despite being told "There is nothing we can do for you," by a major medical institution, through Linda's belief that God had a better plan and with Him nothing was impossible, she defied all expectations. For twenty years, Linda operated a counseling practice, Hope for the Hurting, and has been an inspirational speaker since 1999 across the U.S. and as far away as Guatemala. She is also an ordained minister who has been on numerous mission trips, trained as a prayer minister, and provided prison ministry. Married to her husband, Jim, for over thirty years, they have three adult children. Linda's hobbies include reading, golf, travel, and ballroom dancing. In 2018, at the Millennium Dance Competition, Linda was given a Dance Hero award by Michael Chapman and Mary Murphy for offering hope, inspiration, and encouragement to others encountering battles with health and physical pain.
