Living MY Truth: Leading Beyond Contradictions, Compromise and Corporations

Living MY Truth – Leading Beyond Contradictions, Compromise, and Corporations is a powerful memoir and leadership guide that challenges readers to embrace authenticity, purpose, and integrity in every aspect of life.
Alan K. Nevel takes you on a raw, inspiring journey through his life—growing up in the diverse neighborhoods of Wickliffe and Cleveland, Ohio, climbing the corporate ladder to a lucrative, C-suite executive role, and ultimately walking away from it all to pursue a life of impact and service.
With unflinching honesty, Alan shares how he overcame self-destructive behaviors, rebuilt broken relationships, and found his calling in leadership, diversity, equity, and inclusion. His story is one of resilience, redemption, and transformation—proving that true success isn’t measured by titles or paychecks but by the lives we touch and the legacy we leave behind.
More than a memoir, this book is a call to action. Alan challenges readers to confront their own contradictions, lead with unwavering integrity, and make meaningful change in their communities.
