Spine ends are a trifle bumped and the spine slightly faded. Several leaves have a slight nick at the top corner, and there are underlinings in pencil on a few pages. A fine copy of the first French book edition of any work by Adonis. Inscribed to Swedish author Ingemar Leckius, who, together with his wife Mikaela and Hesham Bahari, translated "The Songs of Mihyar of Damascus" ("Sånger av Mihyar från Damaskus", 1990) and a number of single poems into Swedish: "Pour Ingemar Leckius / son ami / Adonis". Poems by Ingemar Leckius have also been published in Arabic translation in the magazine Mawakif, edited by Adonis. Seller Inventory # 45298
