Liz Here Now is a searing true-story drama set in 1960s Oakland, California, at the crossroads of family trauma and America’s racial awakening.

To the outside world, the Connors are a picture of success: a prominent doctor, his elegant wife, their children, and an exclusive hillside home that symbolizes the American dream. Young Todd and his sister suffer brutal abuse from their mentally unstable mother while their father looks away, more invested in appearances than protection.
