About the Author

Dr Paul France is head of BT Exact's Internet and data solutions design centre. He directs a team of network designers who have been involved in most of the key changes to BT's UK network, including the design of the broadband network that, ultimately, delivers high-speed Internet access to consumers and businesses over ADSL.
