About the Author

Gerard McCann is a Lecturer in European Studies, St Mary's College, Queens University Belfast. He is a founder member of the Ireland-Palestine Cultural Links Project. He is author of Theory and History (Ashgate, 1997) and editor of The Rights Debate (WBEF, 2001). / Stephen McCloskey is the Director of the Belfast Development Education Centre. He is the co-editor of The East Timor Question: The Struggle for Independence from Indonesia (I.B. Tauris, 2000).
