Out of the last ten minutes of her life, Judge Ruth Darnley spent five of them talking to CSI Alison Kepple.

Then she was murdered by a massive explosion that nearly killed Alison as well.

The Police think it's a terrorist atrocity. Special Branch are called in. Arrests are made all over the country.

Alison isn't so sure. She starts to suspect that the killer might be someone more local. Someone she knows.

But finding the evidence to back that up will take her into very dangerous places, and it's more than just her life on the line.

Paul began making up stories before he could even write. It turned out to be an unbreakable habit. Since then he's been a seaman, a janitor, an administrator, a missionary and a CSI, but he's always been a story-maker.

He currently writes crime stories, fantasy adventures and science fiction. .

Paul lives in the UK with his wife and a dog. Their grown up sons also wander in and out or stay around for a while.
