Locker Room Power

Locker Room Power is the mental edge that shows up before the first ball is struck.

Skill gets you noticed. But when pressure rises, presence decides everything. Champions walk onto the court calm, grounded, and quietly intimidating. They don’t “try to be confident.” They train a mindset that holds.

In this book, elite performance coach David Sammel shows you how to build mental toughness and confidence under pressure using a practical, repeatable system used at the highest levels of sport.

“We all know this aura exists. What I like about this book is that you give it an identity.”

– Tim Henman, former World No. 4

“A top book by a top coach.”

– Judy Murray

Inside, you’ll learn how to:

• Develop Locker Room Power and project calm confidence opponents feel

• Stay mentally stable when momentum shifts and mistakes happen

• Control nerves and make better decisions in high-stakes moments

• Build resilience that holds up when results matter

• Stop relying on talent alone and train your mental edge instead

David Sammel has coached tennis players consistently at all the Majors, Billie-Jean and Davis Cups, several Olympians including a medal winner. His work is built on one truth:

Pressure doesn’t create problems. It exposes them.

This book trains what pressure reveals and how to manage it.

If you are a competitive athlete or coach who wants performance that travels to match day, Locker Room Power gives you the mindset to win the mental battle before the contest even begins.
