Logbook Delta: Learn the Secrets of Creative Mathematics

Discover the Human Side of Mathematics

The adventure of learning doesn’t belong only in school. Learning happens whenever a curious mind meets a new idea.

You’ll love the Math Journaling Adventures series because these logbooks guide your children to explore mathematics at a deeper level, building a strong foundation to support future learning. Each book stands alone, and they can be used in any order.

As students write about their discoveries, they build deeper layers of understanding. The process of wrestling ideas into words forces them to pin down nebulous thoughts and decide what they really believe. Writing helps students develop a richer mathematical mindset.

Logbook Delta includes over 100 number play prompts, games, math art, story problems, mini-essays, geometry investigations, brainteasers, number patterns, research projects, and much more, with roomy 0.5 cm dot grid paper for written or artistic responses.

Explore one or two prompts each week, as an enrichment alongside your regular math program. These activities work at any grade level, and most can be enjoyed more than once, revealing new depth each time you revisit them.
