Dave is a registered Professional Engineer in Oklahoma, an active member of SPWLA and SPE, and has published technical papers on log interpretation.

Kathryne Pile is a business process analyst for Williams Communications in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Prior to working for Williams, she served as editorial director for PennWell Books and was a technical writing instructor at The University of Tulsa. She continues to provide technical editing service on a consultant basis for professional societies such as the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists.
