Collated, complete.A classic 'Baedeker' handbook from German publisher Karl Baedeker, who set the standard for authoritative guidebooks for tourists. These guides were conveniently designed to be carried around in a pocket and available for reference on maps and information regarding routes, travel facilities, noteworthy sights, attractions and museums, written by specialists.Comprising forty-six routes and excursions, covering St. Paul's Cathedral, the British Museum, Regent's Park, Houses of Parliament, Brighton, Isle of Wight and more. In the original cloth binding. Externally, rear cover is held by cord to the tail of the joint only. Front joint strained. Spine is faded, with small horizontal closed tear. Rubbing and marks to the cloth, with loss to the head and tail of the back strip. Internally, firmly bound.
