Item description from seller

8vo, pp [4], 124, woodcut frontispiece, title page vignette, vignette illustrations in text, WITH CONTEMPORARY HAND-COLOURING, bound in contemporary straight grained roan morocco, spine gilt ruled, rubbed to joints and spine ends, the upper joint lightly cracked, but a good clean copy FIRST OR EARLY EDITION; probably firts issued in parts, the date of circa 1835 is suggested by the BL, who also an issue by Smeeton as 1828; but neither issue is dated and both appear to be the same content wise. Copies recorded on COPAC - BL and UCL only - are not, however coloured, ours being unusual in this regard though certainly as issued. The title is in any case a scarce one.
