The London Spymaker: A Riveting WW2 Historical Saga of Espionage, Love & Betrayal. Inspired by a real story. (The Resistance Girl Series)

She sent the people she loved into the war. Not all of them came back.

London, England, 1942.

Anna Adams is the cool, untouchable heart of SOE’s French Section. She chooses the women, trains them, and sends them behind enemy lines. No one at Baker Street headquarters knows the girl she was before: a Jewish refugee driven out of Germany in 1938, whose heart still belongs to the Polish pilot who saved her at the border.

Pressed into an engagement with a man who would erase her past, Anna buries herself in her work. Then her agents begin to vanish, one by one. Among them are her closest friend and Henryk, the one man she cannot bear to lose.

In 1946, in the ruins of postwar Germany, Anna sets out to learn what became of them. But someone is watching her every move, and not everyone wants the truth to come out.

Can Anna bring her women home, and find the man she lost?

The London Spymaker is a standalone WWII spy novel in The Resistance Girl Series, the two-war family saga of the daughters of In Picardy’s Fields and the friends they make at a Swiss finishing school. Inspired by the true story of SOE’s Baker Street headquarters and Vera Atkins’s postwar hunt for her missing agents, it blends women’s historical fiction, espionage and a love story lost and found, for readers of Kristin Hannah, Kate Quinn, and Pam Jenoff.
