As Long as the Moon Shall Rise : Reflections on the Full Moon

“A beautifully produced collection of reflections on the full moon.”—New Age Retailer

For poets and painters, lovers and lunatics, the moon has been the awe-inspiring source and symbol of feminine power and profound mystery since ancient time. This unique and richly illustrated four-color gift book is designed to be a cherished expression of love when given during the full moon.

With journal entry spaces in each of its thirteen sections, one can record musings, quiet observations, and passionate messages to be shared with friends and loved ones.

The book includes poems, meditations, and insights about the Earth’s luminous satellite penned by literary greats such as William Shakespeare, Emily Dickinson, Mark Twain, Walt Whitman, William Butler Yeats, and Vladimir Nabokov. Full-color plates of work by the art world’s giants Henri Rousseau, Vincent van Gogh, and Marc Chagall grace each page. A five-year full moon calendar, a list of suggested full moon gifts, and a compilation of moon-related information concludes this unusual gathering of lunar celebration.
