Zinner has run competitively for over three decades; he raced the 2018 Boston Marathon, and plans to return again next year. He is also embarking on a lifetime challenge to run the World's Marathon Majors, and to finish a marathon in all 50 states. His unbridled love of running and deep gratitude for the sport are the guiding forces behind the words he writes, and the stories he tells.
