Internally lacks ffep, the preliminary blank pages and illustrated frontis (assuming one is called for); 12 monthly parts, each with illustration of a house (offsetting to adjoining page); periodic finger soiling; pp. iv, 476. Tight binding. VOL 3: soiled marbled boards, the paper of the rear one starting to peel. Spine decorated and lettered in gilt with maroon label, 6 cm of rubbing on rear hinge near base; a 2 cm crack at base of front hinge does not compromise tight binding. Internally soiled endpapers, the rear free one with some loss. The frontis shows a view of Kendal; 12 monthly parts each with plate of a house; contents clean and tight. Pp, iv, 2, 475. A 3 cm tear to first page of Index, without loss and a small hole in the other index page. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
