During her career, she's worked with Sidney Poitier, Denzel Washington, Cicely Tyson, Jamie Foxx, Halle Berry, Spike Lee, Eddie Murphy, Bill Cosby, Regina King, Will Smith, Viola Davis, Bernie Mac, Morgan Freeman and Octavia Spencer, to name a few.
Her memoir, Look at God! My Hollywood Walk of Faith, discusses how in the turbulent '60s that a Poverty Program-funded acting workshop gave her an opportunity to pursue a career in Hollywood. It showcases how she traveled down wild roads before discovering her gift as a publicist. Now retired, she lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Robert Louis Stevenson, a pioneering and an Emmy Award-winning film hair stylist.
