About the Author
Laura Dyer has been a certified speech-language pathologist for seventeen years. She works in early intervention and with school-aged children. Mrs. Dyer wrote this book for parents of typically developing children as well as parents of special needs children. She is passionate about getting the information in this book out to parents of all children ages birth to seven. She has served on literacy committees and has spoken at conferences and workshops for parents and teachers. Each chapter of this book has been peer-reviewed by professors with specialties in each area. In addition, she has also written and produced a nationally recognized award-winning children's CD called Little Language Songs for Little Ones.
