About the Author

Following college, Ilyse R. Atema moved from Michigan to Massachusetts where she raised a family and worked as portrait painter, medical illustrator, and writer. Her works have been published in several books, journals and magazines. Single at fifty, she went back to school and reinvented herself as a licensed optician and business owner. As a senior her experience with online dating spanned over ten years. She is an astute observer and learned firsthand about dating and relationships. She candidly shares her awareness and knowledge garnered over the past decade, and now offers an in-depth book to guide others about the pertinent and timely subject concerning online dating for seniors. She is presently retired. With a favorable outcome, she is no longer "looking for my libido."
