Lorcan's Bane: a tale of peril and the right use of magic (Paperback or Softback)

Could you conjure the courage?
Mirren loves her life in secluded Tarns Valley, where mysticism reigns and women are revered. A gifted healer, she has no inkling that her craft could get her killed. When Prelate Lorcan invades her world, she learns that her life was foretold and that her failure to stop him will enslave women for one hundred generations. Horrified, she vows to find the secret to her sacred power, her only hope of standing against Lorcan’s violence without resorting to violence herself. As events spiral out of control, a breathtaking stranger named Ariel arrives to protect her. Instead, he becomes a perilous distraction.

Can she conjure the courage to walk away from Ariel and save womankind, or will she surrender to her yearnings and sacrifice their future?
