Original crew worn jacket from "The Lord of the Rings- The Fellowship of the Ring." Size: Medium. Great condition. This jacket was only made available to crew members of the Weta Digital FX unit in New Zealand and never sold to the public. It was not given to crew members for free. They were offered a one-time special order and obliged to pay for it. This is a genuine New Zealand oilskin jacket, with leather collar . The front of the jacket reads- "The Lord Of The Rings - Weta Digital Crew 1998-2001" On the back The Gates of Moria, otherwise known as The Doors of Durin are rendered in silver embroidery. A tag has the manufacturer as Oscar Eide in New Zealand. 100% cotton oilskin assures they remain waterproof. It has zippered chest pockets, two front pockets and four interior pockets. The inside has a mesh lining. Measurements (approximate) ; Length 32" Zipper to bottom 24' Sleeves 21" Shoulder to Shoulder 23" Armpit to Armpit 25" Color: off black or flat black. There is no fading to the color of the oilskin. Some wrinkles on leather collar. This is a well made quality garment. We doubt you'll see another for sale on Ebay again.
