Octavo, three volumes. Second American edition. All three volumes stated second printings (thus). All three maps present and appearing unopened. All three volumes in fine condition, with rich topstains. In very good dust jackets (with $6.00 publisher's price intact), somewhat faded on the spines, with notable chipping at the crowns. Else a nice, clean set, increasingly uncommon in this condition. In the publisher's slipcase, with some small abrasions to the edges; very good. A rather nice set, but a second printing, and priced accordingly.
