Each volume being a second (revised) edition, third impression, 1968. The Two Towers with a delightful gift inscription to the half title page, from Ron, being a poetic verse about the trilogy. Bound in the publisher's cloth in unclipped dust wrappers. The wrappers a smidge toned to the spines, with light bumping and grazing to the spine ends and joints, the corners of the panels similarly. The panel edges a little toned, wih a few little closed tears, including to the front panel of RotK. Light toning to the fore edge, and light marginal toning throughout. Rear hinge a touch loose to RotK. Each with a smart folding map to the rear.
