All three volumes in the second edition. The first two volumes are the second impression from 1967 while the third volume is the first impression from 1966. The books are all in very good condition in at least good jackets. The first volume has a some edge rubbing to the boards. Light browning to the edges of the pages. Slight page browning but the pages are otherwise unmarked. The jacket has a little chipping at the top and bottom of the spine with small tears at each corner and some staining around the title, browning to the rear panel which has a small tear at the top left corner and there is some edge rubbing. The second volume has a light dent to the top edge of the rear panel and some edge rubbing to the boards. Slight browning to the page edges and to the pages which are otherwise unmarked. The jacket has a little chipping at the top and bottom of the spine with some loss at the top and some small stains. Browning and a small stain to the rear panel with some general edge rubbing and small tears to the corners. The third volume has some discolouration around the edges of the front panel of the boards, a small spot at the centre of the rear panel and some edge rubbing. Browning and some marking to the edges of the pages. Light spotting to the rear free endpaper. The pages are a little browned but they are otherwise unmarked. The jacket has a number of small patches of surface damage to the spine mainly at the top and bottom and over the title. Chipping to the corners and some edge wear. Each volume still has the fold out map in place. Postage will be more than the standard charge because of this being three volumes.…

Prices do not include postage and packing. Payment must be received before books are despatched. Cheques or Postal Orders should be made payable to Raymond Tait, and must be in UK pounds sterling (GBP). Please do not send money until we confirm that the book is available. If you are not satisfied with the description of a book, it may be returned within 30 days with prior notice, in the same condition as received, for a full refund. If you have particular requirements regarding the condition of books, e.g. concerns about odour, please contact me before ordering the book (if there is a strong odour this will generally be mentioned in the description but for some older books with a variety of signs of age this may not be mentioned specifically). Books will be reserved for a maximum of 7 days. Orders usually ship within 2 business days.
UK Orders: Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 lb, or 1 kg. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. If you are buying a small paperback or another small book then the postage and packing will generally be reduced by £1.50 and I will reduce the charge before processing your order.
European Orders: Shipping costs are based on books weighing 800g. For European orders I have only quoted a price for air mail. Not all European countries have been added so your shipping may appear high. Please note that I will adjust the charge I make if this is the case and postage to Europe will be lower than the rest of the world. If you are buying a small paperback or another small book then the postage and packing will generally be reduced by £1.50 and I will reduce the charge before processing your order.
Other overseas orders: shipping costs are based on books weighing 800g. I will generally use whatever method is covered by the standard postage charge but if you specifically wish to have it sent surface or airmail or anything else please ask and I will amend the charge accordingly. Please only choose the cheaper surface mail option if you do not mind waiting - the suggested upper time limit for this form of delivery is 60 days and it can take that long - and sometimes a bit longer. If therefore you wish to receive the book in 2-3 weeks then please opt for the more expensive postage option which will guarantee airmail delivery. If you are buying a small paperback or another small book then the postage and packing will generally be reduced by £1.50 and I will reduce the charge before processing your order.
Books are usually wrapped in bubblewrap and then in cardboard. Please ask if you have any particular requirements.
