Unclipped jackets generally smart, a little wear to the edges, red cloth covers, a few minor marks to The Fellowship, otherwise smart, bright gilt lettering to the spine, strong red top edges, some very faint tiny spots to the edge of page block and very rarely to a page or margin, securely bound, each volume with same gift inscription to half title, pages otherwise bright. Complete with smart fold out map at the back of each volume. Very good condition.
