About this Item

Second edition, The Fellowship and The Two Towers being second impressions, The Return of the King a fourth impression. The Fellowship and The Two Towers in near fine jackets, with just very light shelfwear to the spine ends, Fellowship with one or two small marks to the front panel; The Return of the King a little more worn, with the joints heavily rubbed, the spine ends bumped and creased resulting in losses, the corners a little tired with occasional tears, and the odd mark to the panels, as well as a closed tear of 1" to the upper edge of the rear cover. Each in protective wrapper. The books with bumping to the spine ends and corners, and light fading to the spine ends. The fore edge of Return of the King a little spotted. Each with upper edge rather dusty. All without prior ownership inscriptions. Internally, bindings lightly strained at the front hinge. Pages are bright and unspotted.
Each complete with bright, untorn and intact folding map to the rear. A lovely complete set of second editions.
