Boxed set of the Trilogy in mostly very good condition. The three books are all later printings of the second (revised) edition. "The Fellowship of the Ring" is covered in black cloth with copper and silver printing on the spine and circular ring and eye design on the front cover along with light orange endpapers and top stain. It has a lightly bumped lower front corner with slight edgewear. The folding map is detached but laid in. The dust jacket is good with a long closed tear at the front spine fold, a few shorter closed tears, a few tiny edge chips and a slightly crumpled appearance to the spine panel. 15th printing. 423 pp. "The Two Towers" is in near fine condition with a touch of edgewear and cloth surface wear. It is printed in metallic bronze and green with dusty green endpapers and top stain. The dust jacket is very good plus with a tiny closed edge tear, very light edgewear and surface toning. Folding map is attached and in near fine condition with tiny edge crease. 14th printing. 352 pp. "The Return of the King" is near fine with very light edge wear. It is black cloth printed in metallic purple and gilt on the cover and spine with a purple top stain and endpapers. The dust jacket is very good with edgewear and a tiny tear along the spine. The folding map is attached at the rear and in fine condition. 14th printing. 440 pp. The cardboard slipcase is in very good plus condition with some surface toning and wear along the bottom opening edge.
