A set of 3 black hardcover ( no dust jackets) with the eye printed on the front cover is 3 bright different colours in near fine condition with a near fine black slip case. There is some gilt missing on the title of the Two Towers. The slip case has a red paste-on title (The Lord of the Rings JRR Tolkien surrounded by runes). This set is the second edition. The Fellowship of the rings is the 12th printing and the other two are 11th printings. All 3 have a name blacked out on the fep.
