“It’s overwhelming to consider the number of people who learned how to study their Bibles inductively because of [Kay Arthur’s] years of faithful teaching and writing.”—Melissa Kruger, The Gospel Coalition

Strengthen your faith in the one true Master with this devotional study of the life-changing Sermon on the Mount.

On a hillside overlooking the Sea of Galilee, Jesus opened the doorway to the kingdom of God. He challenged His followers to pursue a faith without compromise. Without anxiety. Without judgmentalism. He encouraged them to build a faith that bears fruit. A faith built on rock. A faith that would be true to the only Lord and Master.

Is that the kind of faith you want? It sounds impossible. It feels unreachable. But it’s available for anyone who is willing to try.

In The “LORD” Series, Kay Arthur, creator of the Precept inductive Bible study method and founder of Precept Ministries international, guides you through the Scriptures to uncover truths you will want to share with others. Designed for group use or personal study.

Kay Arthur was executive vice president and cofounder of Precept Ministries International. Known around the world as a Bible teacher, author, conference speaker, and host of national radio and television programs, she wrote more than 120 books and inductive Bible study courses, with a total of over five million books in print. Kay and her husband, Jack, founded Precept Ministries in 1970 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Started as a fledgling ministry for teens, Precept today is a worldwide outreach that establishes children, teens, and adults in God’s Word, so that they can discover the Bible’s truths for themselves. Kay Arthur passed away in 2025.
