About the Author

Stephanie Chan, Ph.D.c., M.Ed., is a researcher, bestselling author, teacher, early childhood educator, and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). With extensive training in education, psychology, and behavior analysis, and many years of experience working with children of different age groups, Stephanie was one of the first to uniquely apply behavior science to children's literature. She has published many children’s books and educational materials, primarily focusing on perspective-taking, problem-solving, developing and maintaining friendships, understanding and regulating emotions and feelings, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), all grounded on contextual behavioral science.
