This trio of Haggard novels is comprised of 'Montezuma's Daughter', 'Eric Brighteyes' and 'Cleopatra', first published in 1892, 1891 and 1889, respectively. 'Montezuma's Daughter' follows a young Englishman named Thomas Wingfield who has a brush with the Spanish Inquisition, and joins a Spanish expedition to New Spain. 'Eric Brighteyes' is an epic Viking adventure novel set in 10th century in Iceland. 'Cleopatra' follows Harmachiis as he tries to overthrow the supposed imposter Cleopatra, drive out the Greeks and Roman, and restore Egypt to its former glory. Bound in the publisher's original cloth, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with minor shelf wear only. Dust wrapper is generally smart, with slight chipping to the extremities, and loss to the head of the spine. Tears to the joints, the tail of the front board and a horizontal tear of the front flyleaf. Light creasing to the wrap, with the odd mark. Internally, firmly bound with bright, clean pages. Fine.
