About the Author

Malcolm, a proud Padstonian and Cornishman, was born in Redruth in 1957. After finishing sixth form he joined the Metropolitan Police in which he served for twelve years, ten of which on Thames Division, the river police. Moving back to his beloved Padstow he worked for Padstow harbour as Berthing Master for 20 years.
