As we more fully understand the symbolism in the scriptures and the temple, we re led to deeper, more profound insights and truths, allowing us to more readily liken the scriptures to ourselves. This engaging, thoroughly researched book explores the symbolism of body parts, clothing, colors, numbers, names, and animals in holy writ. It also provides charts comparing the lives of scriptural individuals and showing how they are types and symbols of Christ. Symbolism is a language hidden in the margins and tucked between the lines. With study and effort, we can coax the symbolic meaning into the open and become fluent in reading the eternal truths it reveals.
