A military-SF tale of colonists battling hostile environments and alien threats on a frozen world. Emerging from the traditions of comics yet aspiring to the stature of prose fiction, the graphic novel embraces genres from memoir and history to fantasy and satire. Its fusion of word and image situates it as both visual literature and cultural document, bridging storytelling and illustration with distinctive power. Full length narratives span adventure, fantasy, memoir, and history, where art drives the drama and dialogue carries the voice. Together they create a reading experience as visual as it is literary. Today, the graphic novel stands as one of the most exciting ways to explore storytelling in print. Size: 21 x 28 cms. Category: Comics & Graphic Novels; ISBN: 1782760636. ISBN/EAN: 9781782760634. Cosmo Books : 29 years on ABE, 47 years taking care of customers. A bookseller you can rely on.

That first terraforming effort ended in tragedy, with the colony - and its rich haul of terraforming equipment - hastily abandoned.
Now, looking for an easy mark, the ragtag crew of the pirate vessel Crusader have set course for E.D.N. III, looking to pillage these tempting resources, before NeoVenus Construction (NEVEC) can swoop in and reclaim their investment!
But E.D.N. III takes coldly to strangers, and the Akrid are ready to welcome them into their fearsome embrace...
Fans of the LOST PLANET® series, and star-spanning science fiction, shouldn't miss out on this vibrantly-illustrated, self-contained epic. Who will live? Who will die? And what dark secrets of E.D.N. III will be revealed in the process?
