Rick Suarez was the son of a blue-collar worker who achieved great business success at a very young age. As a wealthy atheist, by God's grace, he experienced a dramatic conversion to Christianity. Because of his wealth and wild lifestyle, he struggled to make a whole-hearted commitment to the Lord. Through God's strength, he finally dedicated his life totally to the Lord. Then, something unusual happened. Instead of his life getting better and being blessed, things got worse! Rick went through a long period of very fiery trials and suffered great loss. God used this time to show him the junk that was still inside him. The conventional Christianity he knew and lived came to an end, being replaced by a new Christian walk, which he shares in his book. He was transformed by his discoveries and what the Lord showed him. Rick is the founder of Fresh Start Ministries. His passion now is to share the freedom, intimacy and blessings that are available to all. He has been married to his wife, Lu Ann, for 32 years. They have four children, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and a grandson.
