About this Item
This is a lot of 8 postcards; showing various images of the Yerkes Observatory in Williams Bay, Wisconsin - on the shores of Lake Geneva. The postcards are all unused; with no messages or postmarks. Dates are unknown, but probably circa the 1940's or 1950's. A couple are B&W, a few are sepia-toned, and two are lightly colorized. Just a bit of VERY light bumping at the tips of the corners on a couple. Two have just a bit of light surface rubbing, and the B&W one with the image of the telescope has some small light circular impressions, and a crease across one corner. Else clean. ; 28A; 5-1/2" x 3-1/2". Seller Inventory # 62900
