A hardcover trade catalog of farming equipment from the Louden Machinery Company. The boards are covered with red paper and the spine is red cloth. 224 pages. No publication date is stated. In fair condition. Staining has discolored the back cover, caused some bleeding to the pages and bright red endpapers, and rippled the pages of the catalog. The red color of the endpapers has bled onto the top and bottom margins throughout. The corners and edges of the boards have chipped paper, and the covers also show some fading and discoloration from age and handling. There is a cloth label stuck to the crown of the spine, stamped with the numbers 2239. A brown paper pocket is fixed to the front attached endpaper. Some chipped paper is attached to the front free endpaper and to page 77. Notices of price list changes are tipped in throughout. 1000 and 4381B are written in pencil and 2239 is stamped in ink on the title page. There is a small bit of chipping on the bottom edge of the title page, as well. A few pages throughout have closed tears in the margins and some gutters are cracked. With a Smithsonian Libraries stamp on page 244, dated Feb 03 1983.
