Publisher: GVC, Malvern, PA
Publication Date: 1986
Signed: Signed by Author(s)
Edition: 1st Edition
8vo. Stiff pink wrappers. 37pp. Illustrations,Near fine. A tight and nice first edition of what appears to be Holland's first published work on Icart, preceding his "Complete Etchings" and "Erotica" books by several years. While very much a homespun production and with outdated prices, this is a scarce title and a useful little primer -- plus this copy bears a nice autograph addition: Tipped to the front wrapper is a Typed Letter Signed from Holland, 1p, 8½" X 10½", n.p., 1987 February 25. Near fine. Transmits this copy to a noted Midwest antiques journal, suggests it "is best used in conjunction with 'The Etchings of Louis Icart' by Schnessel & Karmel." Boldly signed.
