Somebody to Love

Grace Norwood loves her job as a DJ at a small radio station. She&;d only meant it as a little joke when, after meeting Brian Talbot, the handsome new Advertising and Promotions manager, she played the song &;Somebody to Love&; during her show&;and quipped that she&;d met someone who needed somebody to love.

Before she knew it, the idea had taken hold and the station was running a promotion to find a girlfriend for Brian.

Brian resents the idea and decides to turn the tables on Grace. The radio station is soon running a second promotion&;finding a boyfriend for Grace. Betrayed by his former girlfriend, Brian doesn&;t believe in love, and fights the urge to begin a relationship with Grace.

As the radio station audience listens, Grace and Brian go through the motions of finding Valentine&;s Day dates&;all the while struggling with their growing feelings for each other.

Will the two of them learn to listen to their hearts and discover somebody to love&;in each other?

Roni Denholtz has been making up stories with happy endings since she was very young. Eventually she started writing them down, and her stories and articles have been published in magazines such as Modern Romances, True Love, Child Life, Baby Talk, Complete Woman, Women's Circle and For the Bride.

One of her nine children's books, Jenny Gets Glasses, was named to the list of top 20 favorites of first graders in a nationwide study by the Reading is Fundamental group.

Roni lives in northwest New Jersey with her husband, daughter, son, Golden Retriever, and two goldfish. When not writing or spending time with her family, Roni also enjoys reading, photography, cooking, dancing (tap and jazz), listening to music, attending marching band competitions, and collecting old girl's series books.

Somebody to Love is her second romance for AVALON.
