Synopsis

Twenty-eight-year-old Rosalynn McAllister receives a letter from her sister, Susan, inviting Rosalynn, her two children, and their aunt to come live at Susan's farm in Peaceful, Minnesota. A fresh start is just what Rosalynn needs after divorcing her abusive husband. Working together to care for their combined family, Rosalynn and Lone Wolf develop a friendship—and something more. But then he is accused of Mike's murder. Will the bond between Lone Wolf and Rosalynn see them through this and other seemingly insurmountable trials?

About the Author

Deborah L. Reeves was born in Seattle, Washington, and has lived in Washington State all of her life. As a child she loved to read books, mostly about the early pioneers. Her favorite stories were the Little House on the Prairie books by Laura Ingalls Wilder. Deborah dreamed of becoming a writer one day. When she was older, she discovered authors Kathleen Woodiwiss and Dorothy Garlock. Deborah loved the strong, earthy characters in their stories. After she wrote a letter to Ms. Garlock, Deborah received a reply encouraging her to write her own books. For the Love of Lone Wolf is a revised version of Deborah’s first novel, Under a Lakota Moon (2009). Her other published novel is Wild Rose of the West (2021), a revised version of Wild Irish Rose (2010).
