The Winston family is portrayed as deeply compassionate, driven by genuine concern for humanity and the planet. They believe that mankind’s destructive impulses can only be restrained by a force more powerful than humanity itself, a purpose they understand as divinely ordained. Rejecting any desire for power, wealth, or fame, the family’s sole objective is to end violence—against both human beings and the world they inhabit—and to replace it with love and global peace.

After carrying out their first decisive act, the Winstons prepare to eliminate further threats to that vision. Superior in speed, intelligence, and knowledge, they stand as the ultimate evolutionary force, determined to create a utopian world no human power could prevent. Yet just as their plan begins to succeed, a far greater threat from their past is unleashed—one capable of eradicating all life. To preserve the world they seek to save, the family must unite to confront a force even stronger than themselves. The Winston family is driven by deep compassion and an unshakable belief that humanity’s cycle of violence can only be broken by a force greater than mankind itself—a role they believe is divinely ordained. Renouncing power, wealth, and recognition, their sole purpose is to end violence against both humanity and the planet, replacing it with lasting global peace.

Since he was a teen, the author has wanted to write an enjoyable Saturday and Sunday afternoon novel, that one might read on the weekend. To achieve his dream, he took creative writing courses at Universities like the University of Maine in Orono, Maine, and Burlington Community College in Vermont. However, it wouldn't be for years after college when he would write, Inescapable Desires, For the Love of Peace and Elapsing into Love. This series started because of his concern for the violence, crime, and the killing of our planet that happens on a daily basis. It was everyday life that was the invisible force driving him to write these three novels. After receiving an honorable discharge from the United States Navy, his accomplishments in the military were huge. From being a recipient of a Coast Guard Meritorious Unit Commendation for participating in drug operations in the Caribbean, to two letters of Appreciation from the USS Forrestal (CVN-59). After the Navy, he spent years backpacking the Appalachian Trail, the Pacific Crest Trail, the Long Trail in Vermont, and the International Appalachian Trail that wanders into Canada. The author has even hiked in the mountains of Norway. To date, he has backpacked well over 14,000 miles across the United States. Today, he spends his time with his Coonhound (Birch) and his vegetable garden in the backyard. His fourth novel, Heaven's Gate Beyond the Threshold, is expected in the summper of 2026.
