In fair condition, with light scuffing to exterior. Some starting and splitting to center of text block. Hinges remain in good condition. Light markings at front, along with inscription from the Bishops. Includes frontispiece illustration. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Morris Bishop (1893-1973) was a renowned scholar, translator, and author, best known for his works on Romance history and studies, along with North American travel.
