A Love Story About Rave (When We Were Young)

Liam and his friends are suffocating under the bleak expectations and generational trauma of 1989 Britain. But when Liam has a chemical awakening in a grim local nightclub, he pulls his friends into a pilgrimage toward a massive, illegal acid‑house rave. Guided by pirate‑radio clues, breathing trees, and colossal sound systems, they discover a euphoric freedom that forces them to confront their fears and heal old wounds. As dawn breaks, they must choose: return to the lives that were crushing them, or chase the music all the way to Ibiza.

If you want to relive the rave years, spark those old memories, or just take a wild trip down memory lane, this is the book for you. And if you’re into the raw, immersive energy of Fight Club, Trainspotting, Generation X, or A Clockwork Orange, you’ll find a place on your shelf for A Love Story About Rave.
