You Are Loved

You are loved features over 240 quotations chosen to encourage us on our spiritual journey and remind us that we are loved and accepted just as we are.

Gathered together for the first time, this collection features words of comfort and inspiration from mystics and spiritual visionaries including Julian of Norwich, Meister Eckhart, Rumi, George Macdonald, Evelyn Underhill, Rabindranath Tagore, Francois Fenelon and many more – some celebrated, others relatively unknown. What unites the quotations is their emphasis on the universal, unequivocal, love of God. With open hearts and minds, these writers received and shared Divine encouragement and inspiration. They remind us that God is present with us always and would speak to us and through us too if we would listen to the promptings of love and truth in our hearts. They invite us to surrender to the will of God, to drink of the living water from which they drank and, through acts of kindness, to share God’s love with the world.

The book is divided into four sections – Openings (reflections), Poems, Prayers and Counsel (spiritual guidance). It lends itself to use during periods of meditation or quiet time with God.

I hope that you will find inspiration and comfort in these pages, and that you will be encouraged to go within and to listen to what Love would say to you. And when loving kindness calls us, as it surely will, may we accept its invitation and follow its lead.
