Lovely Ruby and the Mermaid

When Ruby finds a lovely shell with a strand of mermaid's hair, she sends it to her best friend.

Nancy Trott is a successful greeting card designer and magazine illustrator. Her dream, however, has always been to write and illustrate children's books. Lovely Ruby and the Mermaid is Nancy's first book and reflects her love of the sea and childhood memories of seaside holidays in the Southwest of England. She lives in a Victorian house in Cheshire, England with her husband, Peter, their two young children, Isaac and Lily, and an ever-elusive cat named Elvis. According to Nancy, Ruby really does exist! She's four years old and lives by the sea in Devon, England.
