I’ve always been religious, and any man who comes into my life needs to understand that I have a strong moral compass. One day I hope to settle down with a man who shares my values and desire for a family and a wholesome life. There is no room for anything less, no room for speed bumps or roadblocks. Then one man threw a wrench in my spinning tire. That man made me question my beliefs and what true faith really is. Ben Cooper—my very own sinner.

Each blow to the face feels glorious. I crave the pain from my back alley opponent. The high I get from each fight that I provoke is the same one I get when I strum my guitar and hit the high notes on the mic. Violence is my decadence and music is my redemption. I love beautiful women, the taste of whiskey on my tongue, and the smell of tobacco on my breath. I’m a man with no morals and no plan. I’m a man with only the promise of the day I'm living. Until I find the most beautiful melody, fully dressed and with a cross around her neck. Sadie McCallister—my very own saint.

CC Monroe was born in the sunshine state of California. She now lives in Utah with her real life book husband and beautiful sons, spending  her days working and her nights locked away writing the stories her readers can’t get enough of: angst-filled, plot-driven, insanely sexy stories—just the way we like them. CC has mad one liners, can be witty on the spot, and curses like a sailor. Her best friend is coffee with a side of sarcasm.
